DEEP SKY ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY
Dave has been an IT professional for over 30 years and a lifetime science and technology enthusiast. He lives in Centerville, PA and has owned several telescopes over the years but was always disappointed with what he could see visually. Digital cameras have come a long way and offer the ability to take very long exposures with software. In 2022 he decided to take up astrophotography and finally be able to capture the beauty of the celestial objects that the human eye is just not able to see with any telescope. Since then, Dave has captured dozens of different objects such as galaxies and nebula. Dave started attending different events selling the images he captures from his yard in rural Pennsylvania just an hour south of Pittsburgh. What captivates people the most is when they learn the pictures they see are not from NASA or generated by AI but taken personally by him. He now does his own sublimation printing and offers several different products with his images including magnets, puzzles, and tumblers. It's his way of sharing the hobby of astronomy and showing the beauty of the cosmos.
